Dr. Thomas A. Brush is the Barbara B. Jacobs Chair in Education and Technology and a Professor of Instructional Systems Technology within the School of Education at Indiana University, Bloomington. His research interests focus on developing methods and strategies to promote inquiry-oriented learning, particularly with more open-ended instruction.

Dr. Kyungbin Kwon is an Associate Professor of Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University, Bloomington. His work focuses on facilitating positive interactions among students in contexts of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning and designing effective instructions for computational thinking.

Dr. Cindy E. Hmelo-Silver is a Distinguished Professor in the School of Education, the Barbara B. Jacobs Chair in Education and Technology, director of the Center for Research on Learning and Technology, and a professor of learning sciences at Indiana University. Her research focuses on how people learn about complex phenomena and how technology can support that learning.

Minhwi Seo is a Ph.D. student of Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her research focuses on designing inquiry-based learning environments and instructions by integrating emerging technologies to promote human-centered design in learning practices.

Dr. Sungwon Shin is an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology at Texas Tech University.  Her research interests center around instructional design principles, diverse instructional strategies and technology integration that support learning of complex phenomena. In her TEA Case Library project, Dr. Shin focuses on constructing classroom video cases that present teachers' use of diverse student-centered strategies, including blended and personalized learning.

Dr. Jada Kohlmeier is the Humana Foundation-Germany-Sherman Endowed Distinguished Professor, a Professor and Program Coordinator for Social Sciences Education at Auburn University. Her research interests focus on student and teacher learning.

Dr. John W. Saye is a former Professor of Curriculum and Teaching within the College of Education at Auburn University. His research interests include teachers’ conceptions of social studies teaching and development of teaching strategies that promote higher-order thinking and active student learning.

Dr. Krista Glazewski is the executive director of the William and Ida Friday Institute for Educational Innovation (FI)  and associate dean for translational research with North Caroline State’s College of Education. Her work has focused on ways to develop instruction to support learning through complex problem solving with problem-, project-, case- and inquiry-based learning supported by foundational and emergent technologies.
